How We Work
To obtain a clear and accurate view of the Iris, the practitioner uses a small torch and a magnifying glass. Very few horses object to this quite simple, painless and non - invasive procedure. Each eye is examined as the right eye corresponds to the right side of the body and also provides information on the inherited characteristics from the Sire. Similarly, the left eye refers to the left side and characteristics inherited from the Dam.
Cheshire Equine Iridology are also able to obtain a photograph of the eye using the latest technology in the form of the only specialised Equine Iridology camera currently available, designed by Iris Supplies of Australia.
This enables the practitioner to not only examine the eye in greater detail after the visit but also provides an accurate record of the improvement in the health of the horse after any recommended treatments have been carried out if the owner/trainer wishes. It can also be invaluable on the rare occasions where a horse will not stand still long enough to complete an assessment, or not accept the torch or magnifying glass.
Assessments by Email
Cheshire Equine Iridology can now provide equine iridology assessments from high resolution photos of each eye of the horse. Once we have seen the pictures and determined whether they are clear enough to work from, we would then contact the client to arrange for them to pay the fee. Reports would then be emailed directly or posted as a printed bound copy. |
